City police are looking to the public to help identify a pair of suspects wanted in connection to an attempted child abduction in southeast Edmonton on Thursday.
At around 7:20 p.m., it was reported to police that a “Sprinter-style cargo van” was traveling east on 38 Avenue near 55 Street, police said in a Saturday news release. The van, which was occupied by two females, reportedly approached a 12-year-old boy who was walking home. Police said one of the women got out of the van and told the boy to get in, but he fled home and the interaction was reported to police.
