It’s -18 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 12 km/h winds out of the northeast and a wind chill of -25.
I wish I had a better forecast to report for the next couple of days, but it looks like we’re in for a slushy, snowy, blizzardy, blustery, very cold weekend.
Friday starts with periods of light snow blown in on 20 km/h winds followed by a 60 per cent chance of flurries, with a high of -16 C, and a wind chill near -28. The winds and windchill will persist overnight, dropping 2 cm of snow. Another 2 cm will fall on Saturday, with 15 km/h winds, a high of 18 C and a wind chill of -25.
